Living History

Living History

The mission of the LHD, under the sponsorship of the Parris Island Heritage Foundation (PIHF), is the presentation and preservation of Marine Corps history through the education of Marine recruits and the general public.  The primary method used is a first-person Living History exhibit that allows the recruits or target audience to go beyond seeing artifacts in a showcase and stimulates all their senses as they interact with our living historians.   The Detachment For more information contact Major Eric Junger USMC (ret) at 843-2633290.
